Karla is responsible for leading innovation for Walmart in the emerging payments and FinTech space as well as driving mobile payment innovation in Walmart’s international markets with a focus on the omni-channel customer experience.
Prior to Walmart, Karla advised some of the world’s largest brands and retailers including Best Buy, General Mills, P&G, and The Gap on their mobile strategies in commerce, advertising and payments. Earlier in her career, Karla led product marketing at Sprint and Qualcomm.
Each week, Walmart serves nearly 265 million customers who visit its more than 11,200 stores under 55 banners in 27 countries and eCommerce websites. With fiscal year 2018 revenue of $500.3 billion, Walmart employs over 2.2 million associates worldwide.
